City Park |
| Located next to Eaton High School at Park Ave and 3rd
Street, City Park is the traditional old-town park. With large
trees, 3 picnic pavilions, a playground, horseshoe pits and softball
backstop City Park is used by many for family outings, church picnics
and class reunions. The park is the center of activity for
community days in July and for just relaxing. |

Centennial Park |
| Centennial Park is one of the newer parks in Eaton.
Amenities include a basketball court and sand volleyball court. This
park is popular for practicing football and soccer for the younger crowd.
Off street parking is available. |

Railroad Park |
| This park sits along US Highway 85 next to the Union Pacific Railroad
tracks. This was once the site of the Railroad station. There
are no amenities at this park but there is off-highway parking for travelers
who want to stretch their legs. |

Old Tower Park |
| As the name suggests, this was the site of the old Eaton water tower.
No amenities but is an attractive area across the highway from the Railroad
park. |

Hawkstone Park |
| Hawkstone park is located in the Hawkstone subdivision
northwest of the main part of town. This 11 acre park has large
open play areas, a playground, 9 benches arranged along a 1 mile walking
trail and a 2 acre lake. |

Eaton Commons Park |
| The park at Eaton Commons is located just east of the
subdivision along the Eaton draw. Willow avenue runs along the eastern
park boundary. When completed Eaton Commons park will include a
picnic area with playground equipment, a soccer field, two youth
baseball fields and a "dog park" so fido can have some recreation as
well. |

Benjamin Eaton Memorial Park |
| Benjamin Eaton Memorial Park is located at the corner
of Collins Street and Elm Avenue, at the entrance to the Maplewood
subdivision. This area is dedicated to the memory of Governor
Benjamin Eaton, the founder of our community and Colorado's 3rd
Governor. At the corner of the park is a statue of Governor Eaton. |

Maplewood Park |
| Maplewood Park, at the south end of the subdivision, is
bounded by South Elm Avenue and Colorado Parkway. This area is a
detention pond for storm water and will include a skate park at the
north end when completed. |

Governor's Ranch Parks |
| The new Governor's Ranch subdivision is still growing.
There are plans in the works for 3 parks in the area which will cover
over 8 acres. Come back soon and read about the newest additions
to Eaton's public parks. |
