(EATON, CO) - Due to the volume and nature of complaints surrounding the construction of a fiber broadband network in Eaton by ALLO, as well as the damage to the Maplewood neighborhood irrigation system, the Town is placing a moratorium on the permit process with ALLO until a compliance review can be conducted.

The Town is looking to ensure operations are within the permit parameters and agreements, that repairs and damage are adequately addressed, and that private property and customers are respected. While we believe that a fiber network would be a valuable asset to the community and recognize that utility providers are necessary, the health, safety, and well-being of the residents and community members of Eaton come first.

If you have complaints or damages that have not been satisfactorily resolved by ALLO, please send those to townofeaton [at] The Town will ensure they are also sent to the ALLO Regional General Manager for Colorado to address the problems. The Town thanks residents for their patience in this matter.
