Eaton Public Library

The Eaton Public Library Expansion Project has reached an exciting milestone. Conceptual designs for the expanded library campus are now available, and we want to hear from you!

As Eaton continues to grow, so does the demand for library services. Over the past three years, visits to the library have increased by 73%, and meeting room usage has grown by 175%. In response, the Town acquired two adjacent properties on Cheyenne Avenue and, in February 2026, selected RATIO Architects to lead a community-driven planning process for a meaningful expansion.

Now we’re excited to move forward in this process and launch our new resource, the Library Expansion Conceptual Designs Community Input Overview, which provides community members with detailed information about the expansion options under consideration. After reviewing the designs, residents are encouraged to share their thoughts through our online feedback form!

Community voices have shaped this project from the very beginning, through a public survey, focus groups, and talkback board activities, and your feedback on these conceptual designs will directly inform the schematic design phase this summer.

Visit the Library Expansion Project page to learn more, view the conceptual designs, and share your input.
