Eaton is located in Weld County, Colorado, and is surrounded by agricultural lands. Come to visit our downtown shops or visit the Great Western Trail. Our award-winning school district serves approximately 1900 students with five schools, including a new high school constructed in 2022. Our 10 town and neighborhood parks give plenty of opportunities to get outside. We also believe in celebrating as a community, with annual community events that bring us all together.

Eaton Parks and Recreation District
The Eaton Parks and Recreation District opened the new Eaton Area Community Center in 2017. The new community center includes a community recreation facility, fitness center, indoor track, leisure pool, and more!
The Great Western Trail is a wide, unpaved trail connecting the towns of Windsor, Severance, and Eaton with a total of 10.5 miles of trail. The trail was constructed from the abandoned rail bed of the Great Western Railroad.
