The Town of Eaton is working with local business and property owners in the downtown to create a Downtown Development Authority (DDA).
A DDA is a public entity who is authorized to support the development and revitalization of a downtown district. The focus of a DDA is the enhancement of economic conditions.
What does this mean for Downtown Eaton?
This effort is a community project in partnership with the Town and local business and property owners. The DDA is a tool that can be used to leverage new investment and grow the downtown.

DDA Quick Facts
- DDAs are governed by a board appointed by the Town Council. To be eligible, you need to own a property or a business within the DDA boundaries.
