To partner with the community of The Town of Eaton in creating a safe environment for every citizen.

MISSION

The mission of the Eaton Police Department is to serve and protect all citizens in a respectful, compassionate, and professional manner while protecting human dignity in every circumstance. We will:

  • Form strong community partnerships to enhance the trust of the citizens of The Town of Eaton in the Eaton Police Department
  • Promote teamwork and professional development
  • Prevent citizens from becoming victims of crime or from injury as a result of a traffic collision
  • Continually work to improve our professional performance

The Eaton Police Department is proud to serve the community of Eaton, Colorado. We are a 24-hour operation with officers on duty around the clock to assist you.

We’re located at 224 1st St. Our hours of operation include: 

Police Citizen Service Window (located in the lobby): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday 

VIN Checks ($10 charge): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday

The telephone numbers for the Eaton Police Department are (970) 454-2212. Faxes may be sent to (970) 454-3648.For emergency calls please dial 9-1-1. For non-emergency calls 24 hours a day, residents should call (970) 454-2212. After 5:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays select option 3 and your call will be answered by a Weld County Dispatcher, who will dispatch an Eaton Officer to assist you.

The Eaton Police Department has a 24hr video camera in front of the Police Department for all civil exchanges.  The zone is marked with a green sign and there is a dedicated parking spot painted with green lines.
