Requirements to Use the Makerspace

  • You will need a library card. If you don't have one, you can get one at the front desk!
  • You must sign and understand the Makerspace Use Agreement, Acknowledgement of Risk and Release, and complete the certification quiz for the equipment you plan to use. Please schedule an appointment at the front desk so we can make sure a staff member is available to help you.
  • If you are wanting to use our Poster or Photo Printer, please have your pictures/design ready before your appointment time. These can be brought in on a flash drive or emailed to the front desk once you arrive.
  • Eaton Public Library provides a certain number of materials for free. See the additional information on each machine to learn more.

First Time in the Makerspace?

  • Schedule an introduction to any machine you wish to learn
  • On your first reservation you will complete a certification quiz, and receive a Makerspace Use Agreement and the Risk and Release agreement.
  • Your certification quiz is good for one year and will be logged to your library card account.
  • After you complete the quiz and two forms the creating will begin!
