Welcome to the Eaton Public Library! We are proud to offer a wide range of services to our patrons, and we're always looking for ways to improve and expand our offerings. Here's what we currently provide:
Computer Lab
Our computer lab has 15 computers available for use and is a great resource for patrons who need access to technology. We have a variety of software and programs available, including Microsoft Office. Printing, Scanning, and Faxing is also available at no cost to library patrons.
Makerspace
We are excited to offer makerspace technology to our library patrons! Our makerspace includes3D printers, a laser cutter, a Cricut Maker 3, and more. We also have video and audio editing software available. The makerspace is open Monday through Saturday. We ask that patrons attend an orientation session before using the equipment for the first time. Please see our Technology page for more information.
Meeting Rooms
We have a variety of meeting rooms available to patrons, both large and small. Our larger meeting rooms can accommodate up to 12 people and offer Zoom services, making it easy for remote participants to join the conversation. Our smaller study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are perfect for individuals or small groups who need a quiet space to work. Event Room
Our event room is a versatile space that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as workshops, classes, and community events. The room is equipped with tables and chairs to meet your needs and can accommodate up to100 people. This space comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Reservations are required, and a form must be filled out in advance. Please see our meeting rooms page for more information.
Tech Drop Ins
Our certified hardware/software technician is available to help patrons with a variety of issues, such as virus removal, software installation, and troubleshooting. Appointments are required, and can be scheduled at the front desk, over the phone, or by emailing our Technology Services Coordinator at dcarey [at] highplains.us. Our technician is available Monday through Friday, but this service requires a reservation. Contact the library front desk for more details.
Notary Services
Our library provides notary services to patrons by appointment. Our notary is available to assist with a variety of documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, and real estate documents. We encourage you to contact the library for more information. Our notary is available Monday through Friday 9 to 4.
