Library Director

Amber Greene is honored to serve the Eaton community as the Library Director since July 2022. She graduated from UNC in 2012 and spent the next 10 years working in public libraries in Northern Colorado. She has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State and has specialized in the areas of youth literacy, technology services and library leadership. Amber enjoys reading, cooking, paddleboarding, and hiking with her rescue dogs. It has been her dream to work at a small-town library, very much like the one that changed her life as a child, and she looks forward to honoring Eaton library’s historic past while growing it into the future.

Executive Assistant

Rebecca Proctor is an experienced Executive Assistant at the Eaton Public Library with expertise in scheduling, excel, SharePoint, and office management. She is also a notary and a proud mother of three children. Having lived in Eaton for 16 years, she loves her community and is committed to serving its citizens to the best of her ability. Rebecca is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to excellence, playing a vital role in ensuring the library runs smoothly. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in community activities.

Library Manager

Christine Lynd has worked in school librarianship for 10 years in both Middle and High Schools in two large school districts in Texas.  She is extremely excited to have relocated to Northern Colorado and has enjoyed getting to know the town and people of Eaton!  When she isn't working at the library you may find her hiking in the mountains, watching movies, reading or fussing with her houseplants.

Daniel Carey

Daniel Carey

IT Services Supervisor

Daniel started working at the library in November of 2022. Since then, he has hit the ground running with hardware installations, tech drop-ins, revamping the Makerspace and much more. He has a passion for all things technology but specializes in networking and cybersecurity. Daniel is CompTIA certified in A+ hardware/software, networking, and cybersecurity. Daniel is always furthering his knowledge by obtaining new certifications. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, working out, video games, and working on his home lab network. His favorite part of his job is teaching teens and adults PC Building, Networking, and Cybersecurity.

Children's Librarian

Angie is a proud resident of Eaton and a devoted mother of two boys, Zachary and Shawn. With a strong background in teaching, she earned her AA in Early Childhood Education from Aims Community College in Greeley and has spent over 10 years teaching in various preschool classrooms. Currently, Angie is excited to share her love for books with the community as she takes on a new role in the library.

Michelle Grey

Library Associate - Youth Services

Michelle Grey, a nature enthusiast, was raised in a small town, igniting her lifelong passion for the environment. Graduating from Colorado State University with dual degrees in Environmental Health and Biology, she dedicated herself to preserving nature's beauty. Through an internship with Colorado State Parks and Wildlife, Michelle met her husband, Eric, a shared love for conservation uniting them. For 15 years, they've called Eaton home, raising their two sons, Anthony and Alexander. Michelle's heart belongs to the outdoors—fishing, hiking, paddleboarding, and camping—and her love extends to animals, caring for a Yorkie dog and a cherished flock of hens. Actively involved in community conservation efforts, she inspires others to value and protect our natural world.

Mandy is an extraordinary individual who has dedicated over 16 years of unwavering service to the Air National Guard. Alongside her military commitments, she balances the responsibilities of being a dedicated mother to two wonderful children. In her leisure time, she finds solace in activities that bring out her creativity and passion. Whether it's sewing, diving into captivating books, or indulging in her love for baking, she effortlessly immerses herself in these hobbies.

Esperanza Estrada Lopez

Library Associate - Adult & Family

Esperanza grew up in the Central Coast of California and graduated with a Political Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also worked at a library storage facility. After spending some time in the corporate world, she is now pursuing her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. She is excited to be back in the library space and help contribute to this wonderful community by helping patrons through our services and programs. When not at the library or studying, she can be found reading or watching her favorite shows while cuddled up with her cats.

Caleb Shaver is from Dayton, Tennessee. He's a communitarian who likes to read, hike, camp, play the piano and paint. He isn't a great cook but he enjoys trying. He's happiest waking up a little early, drinking coffee and reading.

Helen joins our team as the Outreach Associate for the library. Helen received her degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Business Administration. She later went to Aims and earned her Early Childhood teaching credential and Large Center Director certification. For the last 20 years, she has worked in the Early Childhood field, and taught preschool for 12 years. She is the mother to two daughters and grandmother to three grandchildren. She enjoys baking, playing board games, and spending time with her family and two rescue dogs. Helen is excited to bring the library’s services to the community.

Miles grew up in Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2022. He is passionate about using his background in engineering and electronics to help teach others about science and technology. He also enjoys helping patrons navigate the Makerspace to work on their creative projects. In his free time, he loves reading, watching movies, and playing board games. 

Theresa Rusher

Theresa Rusher

Library Associate - Sub

Theresa has two daughters and two granddaughters.  She and her entire family enjoy reading. She enjoys crocheting and other crafts. She also enjoys helping others by volunteering at the Weld Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.  Before joining EPL she was a paraprofessional at the Salida del Sol charter school.

Abby Moser is a proud resident in Greeley, Colorado. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Northern Colorado. She is passionate about reading and public access to books. The library was her favorite place growing up and wants all kids to feel the same way about their library. Aside from reading she also loves horror movies, writing, and of course shopping.

Gracie grew up as a missionary kid in Mozambique, Africa, where she went back to work after finishing college in the US. She moved to Colorado 3 years ago to be with her husband. They got married in 2023 and have been on a crazy adventure ever since! Two kids, a move, and mission shift, finds them here in Eaton and Gracie at the library! Gracie is excited to get plugged in even more to our community and is so grateful to be a part of such a fabulous library!
